We’re on the lookout for a Community Engagement Volunteer to join our team at Connect North York.
The Background.
About Us: Connect North York is an initiative designed to unite youth in the North York area, fostering resource sharing and building a stronger sense of community through various activities and events. Currently, I am planning an event in support of women interested in starting, managing, and marketing their businesses on February 24th, 2024.
The Roles.
Collaborate on engagement strategies with the community outreach team.
Actively manage and enhance social media presence to share community initiatives.
Attend and represent the organization at community meetings, gathering valuable feedback.

The Note.
This position is a voluntary role without financial compensation. Recognition and compensation will be provided in the form of accumulated volunteer hours.
If you are an Ontario high school student that requires volunteer hours towards the minimum 40 hours of community involvement activities as part of the requirements for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), following the guidelines set forth by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
